Water/gravel storage
A water/gravel storage is a watertight pit, filled with water and gravel. The storage is covered and thermally isolated on the surface. It contains heat exchangers for indirect loading and unloading or internals for direct connection to the heating circuit.
The advantage of this type of storage is its relatively cheap construction and its high static capacity.
